Norway: Home of the Trolls
by Eli Ketilsson

http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/14461212/

I picked this up from the Book Thing several years ago, because I love native fairy tales from other lands. I finally got around to reading it so I could give it to a friend who was going to the BookCrossing convention in Norway!

This book is an interesting combination of art and verse about trolls with two disturbing stories mixed in. It was definitely an eye-opening collection. I will forever be haunted by the illustration of the troll lady stirring her dinner on the fire using her own 5-foot-long nose. I'm certainly glad I've never met a Norwegian troll!
