With a cover this cute, I couldn't NOT pick this book up when I passed it in the library during my volunteer shift tonight. It is an adorable book with only one word: Ball. But that word is said and thought dozens of different ways throughout the book as this adorable, silly dog gets excited, hopeful, sad, worried, depressed, and tired amidst playing with his ball.

It's creative and so true to life. If my dogs could tell me what they were thinking, I'd imagine it would be this exactly!
