In this book, Obi-Wan is very hungry for a very long time.

Upon returning to Coruscant, Qui-Gon takes his padawan to meet a friend who runs a restaurant in which Obi-Wan is not allowed to eat anything. Qui-Gon's friend is being hunting by a formidable foe who frequently defeats the Jedi in each encounter. As the Jedi try to figure out why this random person might want to kill this random friend of Qui-Gon's... we realize things aren't so random after all.

And, eventually, Obi-Wan is allowed to eat something. He's a growing boy. Seriously, Qui, you need to remember to feed him! heehee
