This book caught my eye at the library, so I snagged it and took it home to read. Ironically, i can't find a good image of this book's cover. Organized by Marvel franchise/hero, it explores the variety of amazing looks of the character that also tell stories of their own. There are quotes from writers about the artists they worked with and how the art brings out parts of the characters. But, nmostly, it's just a gorgeous look at some of the art that bings these characters to life. I loved seeing the different styles and portrayals as well as what they chose for this book (there must have been so much from which to choose!). Many of my favorites are in here, from the Fantastic Four to Wolverine to the X-Men to Spider-Man.
