Ultimate Spider-Man #20: Ultimate Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends
by Brian Michael Bendis & others

I enjoyed this collection quite a lot, because it focused more on teenage-related problems, which seemed a lot easier to deal with than what poor Peter's had to deal with lately. Johnny Storm from the Fantastic Four is back, trying to have a bit of a life and not entirely understanding some of the social problems at hand like why he can't do anything that will let people discover he's Spider-Man. Of course, one of his friends has already figured it out and wants to ask Peter about Kitty, because they dated, but that would mean he has to let on that he's figured it out. And then there's their friend, Liz, who's coming into her mutant powers, which is startling and scary, but even more-so because she hates mutants and doesn't want to be one. To complicate things, Magneto shows up. Yeah, just typical teenage problems. heehee I really liked the balance between dealing with powers and trying to be a normal teenager. The outing at the beach was especially fun.
