Accio Books!
Okay, so I've been slacking bigtime here. I have a few meetup notes to make and I've got a bunch of book reviews to write.
But, more importantly, I'm currently obsessed with the Harry Potter Alliance's new campaign for March called Accio Books! The idea is to donate as many books as you can to either local organizations or to a project with teens in Rwanda. You get points for each book you donate and I want to do my part to help win the house cup for Hufflepuff!
I already got permission from my head of house (Sue Upton, head of Hufflepuff) to count the books I'm giving away at the fair on Saturday towards my total. I'm also planning on donating a bunch of children's books to ECHO before the end of the month. And I'm boxing up some young adult books to send to Rwanda. I wish I had more Harry Potter books to send there, but I have at least one (worth 15 points each).
