Happy Hustle High, Vol. 5

I haven't read books 1-4 in this series, but a graphic novel/manga bookbox is on its way to me soon, so I figured I should read this so I could get it moving. I was pleasantly surprised by the story! I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Now I kind of wish I hadn't started with the last book! LOL
The art was nothing breathtaking, but it was beautiful at times and adorable the rest of the time.
It was a cute story. Hanabi was fun to get to know--she's so spirited and adorable. I loved the rebellious girls group getting back at the perv (definitely a good way to get me to warm up to the story). The boys are pretty cute as well. I really loved Yasuaki--and not because he's not into girls (not one of those "I love him because I can't have him" sorts of things). No, I love him because he's true to himself and super friendly and nice. And the "will it work out or won't it?" love story definitely caught my attention. There's a lot of yummy angst but no backstabbing drama--just how I like it. I don't read much Shoujo, but this definitely seems to fit well in the genre.
I can see why it wouldn't be a satisfying ending for someone who's gone through all five books in the series. But for just this one, the ending made me smile.
