More booky books!
Aug. 17th, 2008 08:27 pmWent to Yesterday's Rose today. They had their monthly $5 bag sale. I wanted one bag. Just one. But this large fairy tale book and a whole set of Little House books begged for a home. So I came home with 90 new books.
Was great going through the shelves with crrcookie and
melydia and hanging out with them (and Shaggy) at Panera afterwards to talk books & BookCrossing. Looking forward to the trip to the BookThing next week!
I have a TON of books that need registering now. I think maybe tonight will be registration night. I've really got to organize better, too. I've got 5 bags of books, stacks of books EVERYWHERE, 4 boxes/bins of books, and 1 laundry basket of books. I seriously need to sit down and figure out what to do with all of these!
I also went to Pot Belly on the way home. They have a book exchange shelf. Oohhhhh. I've been dying for an OBCZ in Northern VA that's easy to get to, and this is the closest thing to that. And it's less than half a mile from where I work. Yippie! It's mostly hardcovers, but I have a feeling I'll be dropping books off there frequently.
