A Fairy Friend

I was planning on reading a different book for this reading challenge requirement. But when I saw this book on the shelf at the library, I kept getting drawn to it and couldn't resist reading it (because I love stories about the fae folk).

It's a whimsical, beautiful, imaginative story about a girl and a dog and fairies. I love that there are elements in this story like attracting a fairy by building a fairy house.

I think I was also drawn to this book because of the artwork. It's gorgeous--everything from adorable characters to beautiful flowers. I found out afterward that it's a Disney illustrator. No surprise there. The art was reason enough to read it, but the story was also cute.
