I really liked this story, but not as much as Looking for Alaska. I loved the strange, quirky, unique, realistic, lovable characters. I especially loved the main character, Q. His understandable obsession with Margo Roth Spiegelman is the heart and driving force of the story. Like Q, I was worried about her when she disappeared and I desperately wanted to know what happened to her! The hunt is full of emotion and intelligence, with clever clues and deep analysis.

When he found her, like Q & his friends, I was highly insulted and disappointed. And the book ended with a lot of deep thoughts and meaningful morals learned. But I wasn't as satisfied as I feel I could have been. It felt like a bit of a letdown.

But the journey and mystery were still well worth it. I absolutely LOVED the book and the style and the characters. I have Lauren Fairweather's song 'Black Santas' stuck in my head even now, weeks later. I laughed so much and loved so many moments that I couldn't even begin to list them out.

Not my favorite by the author, but definitely my second favorite. I think. heehee! With John Green it's so hard for me to choose. I'm totally a Nerdfighter fangirl now :-)
