I never saw the movie this book is related to, but maybe it's for the best, because this was super creepy and graphic! Not my kind of thing. I liked the art style but the story took some time to get going and I kept feeling like I was missing something (like the importance of this ship on the cover and throughout) because I didn't see the movie.
